The project "Garden's Best®" was developed by Kai Alberding and Malte Graf. Since 2009, the two founders have been working on the use of biomass and biochar for energy and material use. Since 2014, the company founders have decided on an intensive and application-oriented development in the fields of biochar and substrates, which allows the large-scale production of biochar, growing media, soil additives and organic fertilizers on the basis of 100% natural input materials.
The company name Garden's Best® is legally protected for this company content. The first production of Garden's Best® products was carried out in several large-scale trials. This bio-circulation process is a milestone in the practical implementation of integrated material flow management and offers great future potential.
Kai Alberding has been involved in sustainable power generation and product development for over 15 years. As a graduate in business administration, Kai Alberding has established several companies and locations as well as his own project developments. The focus here was on the technical and commercial management of the plants and projects. Together with Malte Graf, the Garden's Best® brand and today's product family have been developed over the past 10 years and are now reflected in Garden's Best® GmbH.
As a trained farmer, Malte Graf has been involved with nature for many years. In the year 2000 he founded the company Peer-Span GmbH and distributes various bedding materials. Since 2009 he has been working together with Kai Alberding on the energetic and material use of bedding and other natural materials. This has led to an intensive and application-oriented development in the areas of biochar and substrates.
